Day 01 : Banda Aceh on Arrival (L/D)
Upon arrival at Sultan Iskandar Muda Airport Banda Aceh, SWI Fishing team will greet you in front of arrival building, the team will take you to hotel for check in the accommodation (normally the check in time at 13.00 local time, if the room available you may check in before the time). After check in the hotel, we will take you short city tour in Banda Aceh as well as find the fishing stuff you may need. First we will visit Tsunami Museum, Aceh State Museum, PLTD Apung the stranded electric generating ship on land by the tsunami wave about 4 kilometers from the sea. Having lunch at local restaurant where you can have the delicious Acehnese special dishes. After lunch, tour to Lampulo Fishing Village where you can see a lots of colorful fishing boat park near the river side, Fishing boat on roof tsunami monument and the Lampulo International Fishing port where you can see the fisherman unloading the fish from the boat, if we are lucky or coming at the time the fishing boat have just arrive from fishing, we will see they unloading the big tuna and other kinds of fish in greater amount. Let us know if you want to find some fishing stuff like the lure or handmade squid bait for tuna fishing. In the evening, we will visit Ulee Lheue Fishing Village where you can see many local people fishing near the beach. It is also welcome if you want to try onshore light tackle fishing using life prawn or artificial bait such as Rapala. After dinner in nice café in Banda Aceh, we will enjoy best Acehnese coffee together. Back to hotel and free program.
Day 02 : Fishing in Aceh Islands (B/L/D)
Note: According to Acehnese custom law, on Friday it forbid to fish at the morning till 14.00 o’clock. If the fishing time exactly on Friday, we will go for fishing at the afternoon till the night.
After breakfast at the hotel, SWI Fishing team will come to pick you up and proceed to pier. Depart by boat to Aceh Island, on this Banda Aceh fishing trip, we will bring you to several fishing spots in Aceh Island that suitable for popping, jigging and bottom fishing. We will fish between Bunta Island and Nasi Island where in this place has a great spot to catch the giant grouper and snapper. After spend some time to hook the giant grouper here, we will bring you to other fishing spot near Banggala Island, the spot precisely between the Bengal Strait and Andaman Sea where you can hook the Giant Trevally, Yellow Fin Tuna and Giant Grouper. You may also hook the Big Eye Tuna in this surrounding water. You may try the trolling fishing when we move between one spot to other spot and it will attract the Yellow Fin and Marlin to grab the bait. Lunch in the boat where we already provided you the lunch box, snack box and mineral water. In the boat can also cook something but it not recommended. The trip will take at 8-9 hours fishing. Back to Banda Aceh and having dinner at Seafood Restaurant, you may have the grilled coral fish here. Back to hotel and free program.
Day 03 : Departure (B)
After breakfast, check out the hotel, our team will take you short tour to several best places in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar if your flight in the afternoon. The places we will visit included Baiturrahman Grand Mosque which is the landmark of Aceh, Cut Nyak Dhien Museum, Lampuuk Beach, Lhoknga Beach and Leupung Beach.
